CEC 20 held its monthly meeting last night at P.S. 310 School of Future Leaders. We'd like to thank Principal Hong for hosting and to all the staff who assisted us! Discussion of Afterschool Programs with NYCPS Officials
CEC 20 was fortunate to have Senior Executive Director of the Office of Community Schools, George Patterson and Chief of Schools for Community Supports and Wellness, Flavia Puello-Perdomo to discuss the state afterschool programs in NYCPS. Conversations here held around program providers, partnerships, changes in application process, finding different grant and funding routes, and best means for afterschool advocacy.

Dr. Pretto's report included introductory presentations from District 20 middle schools including J.H.S. 62 Ditmas, J.H.S. 223 Montauk, J.H.S. 220 Pershing, M.S. 407 STARS, I.S. 686 Brooklyn School of Inquiry, and M.S. 936 Arts Off Third.
